Iran's Leader: Arrogance Can Be Defeated
Iran Is Not Backing Down
Back in December, 2005 Iran’s hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad announced that Iran would never abandon its right to carry out the full nuclear fuel cycle in Iran - a feat which could lead to the development of an atomic bomb - despite the threat of United Nations Security Council.
Ahmadinejad accused the West of stockpiling nuclear and chemical weapons while at the same time threatening action on Iran if it continued with its nuclear activities.
On March 13, 2006 Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said his country will not back down "one iota" on its nuclear program. His stance comes ahead of a crucial UN Security council meeting on Iran.
